The draft decides who gets what celebrity on their team. This draft is either done automatically by HollywoodLeague, or done "offline" at a draft party (probably with wine too).
The typical draft has each person in the league go in order and pick their favorite celebrity. Once a celebrity is picked, no one else can pick that celebrity. This is done until all the players teams are filled with celebrities.
For either type of league, the draft order wraps around (i.e., if you have the first pick in the first round, you have the last pick in the second round, first pick in the third round, and so on).
Automatic draft
This is the typical option where HollywoodLeague randomly picks the order of where each player drafts. The computer goes in the random order and selects the highest-rated celebrity based on either our default ranking or your pre-rankings to add to your team.
It's smart for all players to pre-rank celebrities. To do this, just go to your team page and select "Edit your draft pool."
Offline draft
In this draft, the league conducts its own draft in any manor they like (typically w/ a party). The commissioner (person who created the league) is responsible for submitting the results of this draft into HollywoodLeague. This can be done by "managing" the league.
D-Listed
There are a few celebrities who just can't stay out of the news (usually Britney or Paris), and who ever is lucky enough to get these celebrities always wins a league. To even the playing field the top scoring 2 (can be changed in a custom league) celebrities in the past 30 days are ineligible to be on a team for that league and a "D-Listed" from competition.
